Fila is a brand synonymous with sports and leisure. Their trendy designs took the sports world by storm in the 70s and 80s. Fila was created in Biella, Italy, a city that lies in the foothills of the Alps, nestled between Milan and Turin. Two brothers, Ettore and Giansevero Fila saw an opportunity to supply the people of the Italian alps with clothing but it didn't take long for them to branch out.

Due to the popularity of the "White line" collection, Fila found themselves able to reach out to athletes for collaborations. The most notable of these collaborators was tennis superstar Björn Borg. His enigmatic personality and captivating tennis propelled Fila into the spotlight causing other tennis players to follow suit. Former world no.1 Boris Becker kept the Fila-Tennis partnership going throughout the 80's ad '90s and into the future. Current women's world no.1 Ash Barty and men's top 10 Diego Schwartzman are just two of the many athletes choosing Fila as their go-to sports brand.
Leisurewear
Fila may be known for their sportswear but that hasn't stopped them from breaking into the world of streetwear and everyday fashion. They initially started making sports shoes designed for a range of activities such as basketball and mountaineering. Soon though, these shoes could be seen everywhere. As a result of their success, Fila eventually branched out even further, creating lines of shorts, sweatshirts and even glasses.
