Terms & Conditions

The terms set out below apply to every order placed with Spex4Less. Please read them before ordering.

Last updated: 1 January 2025

1. Orders and pricing

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before dispatch; if a price error affects your order we will contact you before proceeding.

Your order is accepted when we confirm dispatch. Orders for prescription lenses are manufactured to your individual prescription, which is why they are exempt from the standard 14-day distance selling withdrawal period once glazing has begun. Our satisfaction guarantee covers you instead.

2. Prescriptions

You confirm that the prescription you provide is current, accurate and issued by a qualified optometrist or ophthalmologist. We may contact you if a prescription looks unusual or is more than two years old. We are not responsible for lenses glazed to an incorrect prescription you supplied.

3. Payment

  • We accept card payments and Revolut
  • Payment is taken when you place your order
  • All transactions are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers

4. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Prescription orders typically dispatch within 7–10 working days. Risk passes to you on delivery; if a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we replace or refund it.

5. Returns and refunds

Unworn frames may be returned within 60 days for a full refund. If your prescription lenses are incorrect or defective, we reglaze or refund at no cost. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. To the maximum extent permitted, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We also participate in alternative dispute resolution through the European Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable.
