Our story

Spex4Less was founded in 2004 by two dispensing opticians who were tired of seeing customers pay three or four times too much for the same designer frames and lenses sold on the high street. We cut out the expensive stores, the sales commissions and the middlemen, and pass the savings straight to you.

Two decades later we still do things the same way. We keep our overheads low, we buy directly from the same manufacturers as the big chains, and we glaze every single pair in our own UK laboratory. No franchises, no hidden mark-ups, no compromise on quality.

Dispensed by opticians

Every order is checked by a qualified dispensing optician before it is glazed. Our lab team measures, cuts, fits and inspects each pair by hand, then a second optician quality-checks the finished glasses before they are posted to you.

If anything is not right with your glasses, we fix it or refund it. That is what our 100% satisfaction guarantee means, and it has been the same promise since day one.
